Up and comer Christopher J. Essex is bringing stories back to Country Music! Christopher sings his songs with such passion and expression that you hang onto every word waiting for the hook to set the story into motion. His kind heartedness and fun loving personality are deeply engrained in every aspect of his Country Music career.

The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native grew up as an actor and has spent most of his life on various stages across the world. After getting his Bachelor of Fine Art’s Degree from Carnegie Mellon University he moved to New York where he was apart of many casts that came through Broadway’s 54 Below. He then took a job in Chicago playing Johnny Cash in Million Dollar Quarter. After the run of that show he traveled with the show again but this time to Europe where he performed in 13+ countries with Norwegian Cruise Lines. He has recently made his move to Nashville, TN where he is finally laying down roots. Though new to town he is already making moves!

One of those moves is his debut single Swipe Right On Me. Produced by Kent Wells and Mixed by Mark Needham, this single is set to give him the strong introduction to the Nashville Country Music Scene that he has been waiting for!
